Climate Change: Taking Action For Equity
The window is closing, we must act now
Waters surge along the shores
Homes destroyed, terrain left coarse
Hurricanes hit with heavy rainfall
Many remain, they didn't receive the call
Wildfires burn large swaths of land
Water kept at bay using bags of sand
Sweltering heat encompasses our city
No A/C or water for cooling, what a pity
Homes flooded, precious memories left behind
Avoid outdoor activities, according to the AQI
Pregnant women deliver earlier than expected
The outlooks may leave us feeling dejected
How do we have hope for the future, how?
The window is closing, we must act now
